BRAIN SCAN INVERT (Orange) – MRI Self-Portrait T-Shirt
A self-portrait and a medical document.
This print uses an MRI scan of the artist’s brain. The body that performs is also the body that is imaged. Individual becomes specimen. Under the skin: a map that is still a face.
This is the colour-inverted version of BRAIN SCAN: the sepia scan flipped into an X-ray-like negative, with the MIXIGNALS text in vivid orange. Medical imaging from the practice of Alex Beriault. Open-edition artist print on a unisex classic tee in Black.
MIXIGNALS is the clothing label of visual artist Alex Beriault. These garments are not fashion with an art filter. They are open-edition artist prints.
